Join the increasingly popular Latin Quarter, youll be blown away by the big Latin sound, sexy dancers and the dynamic Melbourne Salsa dance classes.

Turning 30 in 2010, St Kilda Festival is one of Australia's best known and Melbourne's most loved events. It utilises St Kilda's stunning foreshore and celebrates the cream of Australia's musical talents.

14 February is Festival Sunday: be treated to a rich and diverse range of Australian talent, with more than 50 bands performing across the stages, plus extreme sports, dance, children's entertainment...the list goes on and on. Set against the backdrop of St Kilda, St Kilda Festival is the only place to be. And the best bit, it's all for free!

Experience the excitement of Samba when the show girls take to the stage in traditional Brazilian bikinis, feathers and exuberant costumes. Filhos de Bahia percussionists will be playing live infectious samba rhythms. Be amazed by the sheer athleticism of the capoeiristas with their dazzling display of the Brazilian Martial Arts known as Capoeira.

Then get up and take in a Melbourne Salsa dance class ending with dancing to the live Latin big band. If you have never experienced Latin music and dance, this is one afternoon not to be missed!
